RE: Steemit Update [ February 3rd, 2022 ] : Community Curators for February

I congratulate the groups and above all the people who, with honesty and a spirit of genuine growth, will occupy the position of curators.

However, I take this opportunity to comment that I have been feeling uncomfortable with Steemit for some time. Although I am very grateful, because Steemit has changed my life, for a few months, I see some injustices, both towards users and towards people who have been here for years.

I will present certain issues that make noise to me, and that I think take Steemit's harmony away:

  • Little promotion and support for quality and original content.

  • Few initiatives related to creativity.

  • Support and delegation of power to users who have only been active for months, against indifference towards authors who have been active for years

  • Limitation of freedom for rewards. Since half of the rewards are frozen, I think all authors should be free to do with the rest. It seems good to me to support Steemit, but I consider it unfair that given the economic reality of many of us who write here, we are forced to do Power Up (every time they demand more power up). On the other hand, the blockchain is a space of transparency, therefore, to say that the clubs are voluntary, but if one does not join, they do not vote for you, it seems to me that it is masking an obligation.

Steemit was a space of harmony, it was really a decentralized platform. Today, I see that there is more and more concentration.

I have always wanted to share here from tips for Steemit, for life, now my journey, but I see that the platform is getting heavier every day, with more restrictions, with more deprivations.

It saddens me, with all my heart, that the Steemit that I met and where I started my path as a blogger, is falling further behind every day.

There are many of us who are thinking the same thing, but few, very few people dare to express this feeling publicly.

Have a good day, and hopefully at some point the path of diversity of content, joy and above all, growth without seeking to sink the other (something that some prominent users today, take care of doing).

Greetings

We need initiatives that bring more investors to Steemit. At some point the support accounts will not be enough, as they are not now. I have been following club75 for months and doing Power Up 100% and the support I receive is very little compared to other users who only do club5050 and have great support despite the fact that their posts are not of great quality.

We need to attract creative voices to Steemit, talent and creativity are necessary to drive the ecosystem forward. There is a lot of imbalance that deserves to be analyzed, including the little attention to the clubs.

I have been saying the same thing for some time now: many creative voices are being outraged, people are migrating to other blockchains! we must attract more users and the only way to do it is by contemplating creative diversity. You always bet on the newspapers, what about other publications that are wonderful and that barely have cents of rewards? That is another aspect to analyze: the imbalance in curatorship.

It's just my humble opinion. I'm just trying to speak from the heart. Steemit is my family. There are talented people here! Unfortunately, many of those voices are ignored.

and the only way to do it is by contemplating creative diversity

Of course!! And... if your creators are loyal to you, and they post constantly, and they feel happy and supported, you don't need to force them to power up their rewards... you will be more than better with the frozen SP of those posts...
