Life as we know it will never be the same again. If you ever dropped the soap during your stay in the erectional correctional institution then its fair to say you know how a lot of steemians feel right now.

Prison they say is meant to fix the individual, its suppose to be a place were criminals, low lives and everyone affiliated to the creation of Facebook are kept to "fix" them. The concept or idealistic view of it is that after an individual is convicted of a crime, he'll be remanded for a set period of time; in that period, the individual is suppose to feel remorse for his crime/crimes, learn new ways to live and be reintroduced into the society as a better man. The reality is that the individual is put into a cage to mix with other individuals with similar or worst criminal tendencies, learns how to make a shank and more often than not, be anally raped(there have been stories of trains). This is not to say individuals are not fixed by the penitentiary system, I'm just saying people end up with dicks stuck up their butt holes. I'd like to state categorically that it is not a fate anyone wants to be forcefully subjected to.

Rape institutions like these exist in every community and not much is done about the welfare of these individuals thrown in the mix. According to an article by some assholes, the shear amount of sexual assault(fancy way to say ass raped) cases in recent times may not have reduced but at least they're now reporting them. That's "positive" news, probably the only positive to take out of being ass raped, that and your HIV status of course.

The article by Marshall Project further states that though these cases are being reported, neither the inmates nor the prison administrators ever admit to its occurrence. Steps taken to mitigate the issue include physical inspections of butt holes and dick smelling checks within the system, sadly this also led to a disturbing level of blowjobs within the system. Its indeed a clusterfuck.

In more ways than one, the steem blockchain is kinda like prison, the big bad whales ass rape the little guys in perpetuity. The recent HF20 upgrade can be likened to the expectation of the prison system, it is meant to make the individuals within the system better. Its still early days of course but I suspect nothing's going to change and when the dust settles and everybody's voting power is back to normal, we'll just go back to how its always been and all the "booty" (rewards not actual ass) wil still be in the pockets of the big wigs. I hope I'm wrong.
