Finding pockets of happiness on dark days
I promised myself I wasn't going to let the negativity get to me this week, and to achieve that, I've been seeking out pockets of happiness to brighten up my typically dark days. Today's literally a dark day because there's no electricity, so my house is literally dark and to make matters worse all my devices are running low, but I'll still stay positive because this is a minor setback.
Yesterday as actually a lot of fun because I convinced my neighbour to teach me how to ride a motorcycle. It was such an exhilarating event and like I promised uncle G-dog(@galenkp), I made a few videos of myself moving the bike supervised and then unsupervised. I'll upload the video after I edit it a little bit.
Like I said, it is all about finding pockets of happiness and not dwelling on the surplus negativity. I got back home yesterday and had a conversation with my very wise and enlightened landlord that gave me some heartfelt business advise. He's a very impressive and determined man that chose to be self sufficient through the years. It is something I'd like to emulate, so I discussed with him and learnt a thing or two about myself, and life generally.
Today's Monday, but generally doesn't have the Monday vibe because Coronavirus. I'm stuck at home and not doing shit; mostly eating, growing my crypto bag and sometimes exercising. I need to find consistency in the latter because damn, this potbelly is knocking on my door.
Oh well, on the bright side at least I got to take my morning shit right before water finished in the tank, I'll count that one as a victory. That's also probably why I'm not overly cranky or pissed off. Remember my people, it is all about those small victories and savouring each moment in life. So how's your morning going?
