Now I derive no pleasure in doing this but the truth is, we're a terrible country and the whole world is seeing it. I want things to get better, I really do.

I can't help but think how much it costs you to upload these vids. I hope it pays off. I do think religion has no place anymore at the very least not the way it is used today it needs to be regulated and not allowed in public. I would say only the stupid believe but... nah I will stick to it even though it is not accurate :) I like the rant with just enough sarcasm and some facts saying here you go now you decide.
I honestly have nothing against religion, to be frank. I just wish it was truly practiced, instead of used as an excuse to do evil. In Nigeria and a lot of African countries, there were religions and traditional practices before the colonizers came with Jesus/Mohammed and a few whips to "motivate". Now, people use this same forced religion as an excuse to be assholes.
And fair enough some people require that belief in things and the guiding principles but that is not the world we live in. Sure it is the people who are scum and not the religion that makes them so, as for traditional, I don't think there would be any difference whether it is traditional, although the bigger the crew the harsher the jungle justice. Do you think it is easier to teach all those people who follow these false prophets responsible thinking and means of using their faith to actually improve their lives while leaving things unchanged or cracking down and make a government decision to officially acknowledge religious practices need to be controlled and guided in better ways? Even the latter is a problem as the government is no better than these sick twisted religious leaders and their posse of followers.
You make a very fine point and might I add that religion is also one of the tools the government uses to put us down. Religion and government go hand in hand.
