Are we ready for the new season?

Well things are proceeding in a way. It may not be too flashy but it is positive. Dani Ceballos has completed the loan deal to Arsenal and he seems like a temporary replacement for Aaron Ramsey. I would have preferred if the deal was permanent but as indicated, there is no option to buy in the deal. Things could change along the way, depending on his attitude and how he merges with the team.

Another deal that got completed under the radar was the deal to sign William Saliba. The young french defender was snapped up from St. Ettiene for an undisclosed fee that most outlets report to be within the range of €27m. The young defender was then sent back on loan to his previous club for this season and will link up with the squad next season.

There has not been word concerning any outgoing player at the Arsenal. Players like Elneny and Jenkinson have been linked with teams in the league but are still on the books at the Emirates. I expect some young players to be sent out on loan this season, the club is currently swamped with these young prospects and it would be better suited if they ply their trade at a different club, at least for now.
Players like Emile-Rowe Smith, Joe Willock and Bielik will no doubt be sent out on loan while the manager also stated that he has plans for Eddie Nketiah, I suspect he will have to make due with playing Sparingly and making sure he grabs the opportunity whenever it presents itself.
