A man without a friend is a man without power.
Friendship makes life easy to go through. It is the flavor that makes life beautiful. To have another human on your side who is not with you because of what you have or for your looks or for a position you occupy, to have that is priceless.
It’s the coming together of persons in an easy synchrony. With a friend, there is no judgment; they help you carry a share of life’s burden and you are happy to do the same for them.

There is no need to pretend to be who you’re not because they make you feel comfortable being who you are.
It is sad that sometimes, we choose the wrong companions. We get carried away by their appearance, their words or their actions without checking properly to see if we fit.
Friendship should not be forced. That’s not how it’s meant to be.
To a very large extent, the friends you keep will determine how far you go in life.
There are friends who are used to you being small and will therefore oppose your growth. There are the ones who have a clear idea of who you should be and will therefore be uncomfortable when you break those boundaries and become more than their expectations.
Because a friend is the one who knows you well, it is easier for them to hurt you more than anyone else.
Some people have used this as an excuse to stay away from friends but this is not a solution. That you were hurt or betrayed by one you trusted doesn’t mean you should give up on friendship and become isolated.
No man is an island. Humans are built to thrive through relationships so denying yourself of one because of past experiences, is not the way to go.
To get good friends, you must show yourself friendly.
Are you worthy of the kind of friends you want? Have you worked on that temper or do you keep telling yourself that,
“This is how I am. Anybody who does not love me like this should go away?”
That a friend should accept you the way you are doesn’t mean you should keep hurting them with your negative attitudes. ‘Sorry’ looses it’s effects and doesn’t mean anything when you keep going back to doing the thing you claim to be sorry for.

Nobody is perfect but you can work on your flaws and let your friends be happy to have you in their lives.
When it comes to people, trust your instincts. When they show you who they are, believe them.
Friendship is a beautiful experience. Be a good friend. Enjoy great friendships and know when it’s time to let go.
Not all friendships are meant to last forever. When the time comes, pick the lessons and move on to a new start.
