Travel #2: Trip To Slovenian Hills And Mushroom Harvesting - PHOTOS
Hey all! In the morning me and my friends decided we'd go to visit some Slovenian Hills and pick some mushrooms to make a home made mushroom soup.
So we started around 7:30 and we're there for about 5 hours or so.
The landscape is simply amazing - as you can see from the photos below. Hope you like 'em. (everything taken with Huawei p10 lite). Slovenia has A LOT of forests so i think you'll appreciate the view.

We actually got some mushrooms!
Then we went back and i took some pictures from the car - Amazing View
And when i arrived home someone was waiting for me on the floor :D

It was amazing and made only from porcinis so it wan't poisonous :D

Nice! I would love to learn about harvesting mushrooms and I have bought two books on the subject, but I'm still not confident to go out and do it on my own for the first time. One day I'll meet someone who knows what they are doing and I'll see if they will let me tag along with them. If I see a mushroom growing wild in person and pick some myself I think it would give me some confidence, but just looking at the photos and reading the description is not quite good enough for me.
Yep you know how you feel.. i know only about 4 species of mushrooms that i am certain are not poisonous and taste very good..but the rest of 'em i just leave alone just in case..
