About the poem-
This poem can have many different interpretations ranging from sentimental to sadistic. As the author I find it amusing to offer no additional clues beyond what is written.
I Like My Wife's Hair This Way
After adding
and subtracting,
nudging and turning,
my collection
is finished.
To keep it preserved
I had it laminated.
I agonized the process
would degrade the
appearance.
Thank God, it all
came out great.
I especially like now
how the plastic
makes my wife’s
hair all shiny.
It looks like it did
when we first
fell in love.

I have been trying to remember the name of a short story I read, it was very surrealistic and dealt with a man who was laminating his family. It hasn't come to me yet, but was in an anthology of short stories.
