PROVERBS WRITTEN IN HASTE FOR AN UNCERTAIN MIND

The hands that bear flags
are not free to help the oppressed.

A sluggard has more common sense
than a man in a seersucker suit.

Beware of good Samaritans who roll
their red carpets into the traffic.

The widow who puckers her lips
and says please is a cowgirl throwing a lasso.

Security is never found in the open
it is hidden in boxes of memorabilia.

The triumph of complaining
whistles on top of regret.

The tongue of apathy
tries to obscure the wild dogs bite.

The extremist conforms
confirming the center of paradox.

Wealth bosses the rain
then releases a dove for a joke.

Exciting to meet a fellow practitioner of the brief arts.

Here’s a selection of my own proverbs:

Wishing you continued success!

This is the best wisdom
their red carpets into the traffic.
