DIARY GAME || 14/09/2024 || ATTENDING A SUMMER DANCE RECITAL.

Hello diary👋. So I attended my husband's summer kids dance exhibition and it was so educative hence I have to share it.

MY SATURDAY MORNING

I woke up and observed my morning prayer with my husband. Afterwards I did small laundry and chores. I made oats which we had as breakfast with bread.

I went to my shop first before going for the recital.

MY AFTERNOON

My best girl came to my shop and we went to my husband's summer recital together.

We arrived at the venue at Ewet Housing Extension, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria before the event started. Parents and kids were seated and I could see that the kids were so happy.

The event started with an opening prayer, after that a welcome speech by one of the dance instructor. The first dance presentation by the kids was a solo dance which all the kids performed alone.

All of them presented a ballet dance

The second round of presentation was by the teenagers which was a group presentation. The uniformity in their dance play was amazing. The performed two times, the first was with a green costume and their second presentation was with a black costume.

I loved their performance.💖

Afterwards the kids came out to tell us about the benefits of dance and each child stated one benefit of dancing. According to the kids; 1. Dance makes our muscles strong.

1. Dance increases our energy level.
2. Dance makes us happy.
3. Dance makes our body flexible.
4. Dance improves our level of confidence.
5. Dance helps us to loose weight.

Next, the kids presented a group ballet dance and it was so lovely💞. I was amazed at their ability to remember their moves in uniformity.

The kids were presented with certificate of participation by the CEO of Famous Dance Crew which is my husband.💗

The event ended with the kids presenting an afro dance performance.

We took pictures with an iPhone that belong to my husband's friend which he sent to me through WhatsApp and below are few of the pictures.👇

MY EVENING

After the the dance event it was already evening so I went to the market to buy things to cook soup. I knew my husband had a stressful day so I prepared his favourite soup which is afang soup and he appreciated me for it. We had dinner and called it a lovely day.
