Follow this easy recipe and you have plenty of lip balm for your own use, or to give it to friends and family!

I use beeswax and honey from my own bees, so that I now that all active ingredients from the bees are still present. You can also use organic beeswax. or raw honey.

Ingredients:

10 grams of fresh beeswax

3 spoons of Organic Olive Oil

1 teaspoon of raw honey

5 drops of peppermint oil (EXTRA for smell/taste)

How to prepare?

1. Mix the beeswax and olive oil in a bowl that you heat "au bain Marie" above a saucer of boiling water. The hot water indirectly heats the mass very slowly. Only heat until the beeswax is molten. Stir the honey.

2. Take the bowl from the heat and add some peppermint oil.

3. Pour the balm in a little tin or a plastic tube for lip balm. Let it cool.
