Hey guys!

Since I had some success with making the graphic above, I thought I'd share it with you. <3

I followed this tutorial by the amazing Nathaniel Dodson. He doesn't appear to have a Steemit page but please check him out on Twitter and of course his YouTube channel.

I had SO MANY problems following this tutorial and NOT because there is anything wrong with the tutorial itself. I had a setting on Illustrator that was hindering my progress.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get my paths to make a smooth pill shape. Nathaniel has a discord so I went in there to see if anyone could help. A few people tried to help but nothing would improve it.

Here are the screen shots I shared.

Then FINALLY I managed to fix the problem.

All I needed to do was deselect ‘Align to Pixel Grid’.

So I did a massive face palm, took a break and then continued with the tutorial.

I had no further problems.

Later on Nathaniel himself commented:

So I would definitely recommend you give it a try and just make sure you deselect ‘Align to Pixel Grid’ or it'll take you all day like it did me!!! xD
