Baked veggies for dinner
Tonight, by request we are making a delicious meal that includes steaks on the grill and cooked veggies. The veggies of choice tonight are sweet potatoes, lighty covered with brown sugar and a little bit of salt. The other is brussel sprouts. One of our new favorite vegetables, the way we like them cooked is by oven roasting them. I cut the sprouts in hal,f add olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simple and so satisfying. They are placed in the oven at 410 deg and baked for about 25-30 mins. When they are done, these vegetables make the perfect side dish for a nice juicy NY strip steak. Mmm. Dinner was delicious!
