경복궁 / Beautiful Traditional Korean Palace / Gyeongbokgung Palace

This is the palace that was built in 1395, during Joseon Dynasty.

Back then 'Seoul' was called as 'Hanyang.'

The Palace was named Gyeongbokgung Palace,
the "Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven."
Because this palace is surrounded by beautiful mountains, Namsan and Bugaksan.

Including the tourists, still many people dress up in traditinoal clothings, hanbok, to enjoy the time in the palace.

It is great to visit this palace when you visit South Korea.
Nowdays the palace is surrounded by the city. :)
