According to the Reddit user that posted the pics he paid about $135 US for his copy. Now, if this was released domestically in North America it would probably be cheaper to import it, released in limited quantities so only eBay scalpers would be able to acquire it then mark it up again, and fans would not be able to simply enjoy it.
There’s a local retailer where I live that has been importing a lot of Japanese switch games. He orders them 30 at a time to make sure him and his customers do good on it
