Today i want to write about how families especially women can cope during their first year of marriage.

Remember for so many years you have been living alone as a young lady, no one tells you what to do, what to eat, where to go and even when to take your bath, you were just an independent human.

But once a woman is married so many things changes, let's look at some of the challenges.

Challenges during the first year of marriage

During the first year of marriage, parents will be so worried that they will want to know everything that goes on in the marriage, they will bring in their personal advice which might even bring more problem.

The husband and the wife will like to seek advice from their parents and this will cause more problems because the parents have different marriages and different personalities.

Minor things like what to eat, how to cook, when to go out, where to go to, when to sleep, might be challenging too.

If care is not taken those minor issues might lead to divorce or separation of marriage.

My personal experience

During my first year of marriage it was very difficult for me, because am a kind of person that loves recreational events but my husband is not that kind of person.

I disgust snoring but my husband snors like there is no tomorrow.

I love making money my own way, but my husband family wanted me to be a housewife.
So when i refused it was a big problem.

Am a kind of person that doesn't like begging for assistance, but my husband family loves it when you always come and beg them for one thing or another, so when i wasn't doing that they felt am a proud person.

My first year of marriage, was a bunch of problem, but honestly i tried my best with Jehovah's help i am counting my third year in marriage.

Now lets talk about how to deal with those challenges.

How to deal with challenges that comes during the first year of marriage

There are four vital qualities that will help a woman deal and cope with those challenges.

Remember they will come in different forms,mine might be different from yours.

Love:

Love is the first quality that will make you conquer all those challenges, your love for your family will help you deal with anything that comes up.

Determination:

This is another great quality that will help you focus on your goal of having a loving home, it will make you to look beyond the present challenges and look for a better way to sort things out.

Endurance:

When you remember that you and your husband are from two different homes this will help you to endure and adapt to the new way of life that you have to face, and with time both of you will understand each other and make a happy family.

Self-Control:

This quality will help you to keep some things to
within your family, not reporting everything that happens to your inlaws or an outsider, it will also help you to resist talking to your mate anyhow and causing more harm.

Conclusion

More to this always seek for solutions within yourselves and always rely on Gods word the Bible for solutions.

Prayer is also very important to have a joyful marriage.

With all this you will have a successful marriage.
