BEASTLY TALES

WAR AND PEACE

Normally she was quite placid,
But sometimes she behaved in a manner most acid.
Her name was Norma Lee, no less,
And her mind-set was in a complete mess.
‘Peaches and Cream’, she displayed when calm,
But when upset, she was in need of balm.
Spitting at those she found offensive,
Made such folk extremely pensive.
When Norma Lee’s dander was up,
It was out the window, with the loving cup!
Normally tranquil by nature, she became quite irascible,
When she thought another’s behaviour not passable.

There was a deficit of tact
In the manner how she would act.
Her adversary and her, considered it was a fact,
That they needed a non-aggression pact!
They would like some normalcy,
So they could behave less critically.

Warren Peace dated Norma Lee,
He often turned up, unannounced, for tea.
“Why can’t you let me know?”
Norma Lee was on the go!
Warren Peace was a peaceful man,
With a face that was most dead pan.
Slow to anger, quick to smile,
He reacted well, without any bile.
Normally this worked a treat,
When he arrived, unannounced, to eat.
But the day for Norma Lee had been rough,
Her normally terse response was extra rough,
“How dare you arrive, at such an hour!”
Warren Peace, in a corner, did cower.

Interesting, I can spot the creativity but I wonder the moral lessons. Thanks for sharing
