“But, never mind, they re-load and fire again, as you can see,”
“May I suggest you duck down and hide?”
“It would be such a disappointment to hear you have died!”

Andy Blewitt when he went to a dance,
He sincerely hoped his girlfriend would give him a second chance.
Stepping on her toes, she was furiously hissing,
Expressing the hope he be among those missing.
“You seem to be endowed with two left feet,”
“And a faulty synapse where nerve cells meet.”
“Certainly you’ve had your last dance with me!”
“My poor feet, never the same, will be.”

His girlfriend’s name was Audrey,
She was anything, but somewhat tawdry.
As you have gathered, she was in quite a state!
Andy had blown it, not likely her mate!
He, Andy Blewitt, she would eschew,
Missing, he would be, into the blue!

Andy Blewitt couldn’t stand the suspense,
He dashed down the lane, making a racket immense.
“Audrey, dear Audrey, I’ll improve my dancing ways.”
“But, if you do leave me I’ll be in a perpetual daze!”
