AN INDUSTRIOUS OTTO?

You may recall Otto Clipzinger’s previous strange capers.
For the most part, they were enough to give one “the vapours”.
Now, Otto was watching T.V. cable news,
This was the source of Otto’s political views.
He noted with interest, a statement that was made.
Concerning Germany’s AUTO Industry trade.
“Germany’s OTTO Industry trade, well now,”
The very thought of INDUSTRY brought sweat to his brow!
It’s not that Otto was not an industrious person,
Well, let’s face it, he’s not. To work he has an aversion.
Not demonstrative of Germany’s traditional CAN DO image.
In either role, industrious work or scrimmage,
But Otto was prepared to exert considerable time.
To any matter that served his ideal, sublime.
Usually concerning much eating and drinking.
Both noble endeavour’s Otto was thinking.
Yes, eating and drinking, and paintings of girls,
In partially clad state, doing pirouette swirls.

No, Otto was not just an indulgent person, quite lazy.
But his view as to Industry was really quite hazy.
Yes, lost in the vales and mists of time,
Frankly, Otto thought working nearly a crime.
A crime against Otto Clipzinger at least.
Whereas eating and drinking, a veritable feast!
Otto’s family had been miners, in Bavaria.
A dawn to dusk pursuit, hard slog, only scarier.
Early in life Otto had determined this was not for him.
Never-the-less, he kept himself in reasonable trim.
Well, reasonable trim, if you think quivering flab.
Constitutes acceptable beach display, drab.
Yes, his large frame covered in flesh quite flaccid.
Should be understood in a manner most tacit.
As having indisputably, absolutely nothing to do.
With Otto’s daily work ethic that he’d not pursue!
