No more mistints. Please.

I love my Hubby I really do. He always tries to go the extra mile when he can and because of that I try to be careful about what I say I want.

There was this one weekend when I woke up and announced I wanted a full birthday cake for breakfast. He came home with 3 mudcakes ~ choc, white choc and caramel.(I was sick for weeks lol)

There was also that one birthday when he came home with a huge tray of assorted turkish delights. (Have never been ablen to enjoy them since lol)

I'm spoiled to excess.

I really should have known it would apply to my recent mistint fascination cos he came home with these today.

The silicone and the gun I need to make the geode dams so I can finish making the test coasters. I was on a roll with the gun and ran out of silicone before I finished the last one.

The silicone cups I am in desperate need of. I use these cups more than anything else because its great with both resin and paint and it's reusable. Let whatever's in it dry then peel it off or wash it off. Much better than throwing plastic away.

$1.50 for 6 at Kmart. I reckon it's pretty solid value considering I have some that are 2 years old and they're still going strong.

And then there's the mistints.

Mistints are cheap paint you can buy at the hardware store. They're the colours that didn't come out right so they're on sale.

I've been using them for my acrylic pouring and as the base coat for the placemats and so far so good! I've been pleased with some of the results I've gotten thus all this.

This is my mistints collection, including the new ones.

There's about 3 different shades of whites, greys and creams/browns, a couple of reds, a blue grey, mints and enamel gold.

Both poured with housepaint

I think I'm going to have to give him a colour list 😉 Purples, greens, orange, yellow, reds would be great. I'm pretty sure I'm stocked up with white, cream, brown and grey at the moment. Luckily they all make great base colours and forces me to think outside the box in terms of colour selection.

This week I'll be catching up on my pouring and geode trials as my preparations for orgonite making begins. I'm hoping by next Monday, I'll be ready to go.

Happy Tuesday Steemit!
