Hey Steemit!
There's so much going on at the moment and creating things is about one of the only things keeping me sane right now.
Since I had the plaster out yesterday while I was trying to experiment with ornament options I figured I might as well try another experiment.
Have you ever seen people make planters or bowls out of plaster/concrete using balloons?
I have, and I have always wanted to try but didnt have a legit reason to give it a go but now that I'm collecting and propagating succulents I have a very real need for planters.
You guys will see this in the video and I also saved the balloon popping for the vid :D It wasn't quite how I thought it would turn out..
Another item on my plate today are the ornaments! I got the mold out of the shed this morning while the magpies were out. While I was over that end look what I found?

As for the magpies, they popped in while I was taping and I totally forgot to throw names out to it :(
The test was a bit "erghh" and I was going to tape that too but my video unpaused so here is a pic instead.
That white glitter didnt quite turn out as I expected. I seriously thought it would be opaque - though I suppose with enough layers it would be, but I dont think I have enough paint for that to make 15 so I will have to add white pigment with the paint to give it a bit of oomph.
I'll be starting the resin experiment after lunch. The planting took way more time than I thought!
