Be kind to wildlife this summer and leave water out.
In terms of summers this year hasn't really reared its ugly head yet but that doesn't mean it won't hit us eventually.
As much as we suffer from the heat it's good to remember that animals are also suffering and sometimes a simple bowl of water can help so much.
This is the second bird to drop by the water bowl today. The first was a magpie who not only drank from it but also indulged in a quick dip.
If the water bowl is getting plenty of customers on this mild warm day, imagine it in summer.

There are 2 baths in my garden that need a couple of refills during the day. Birds love them!
Ive been refilling during the day too! They use it so much I was surprised to see how often they come for water.
We have a bird bath in the yard which is ostensibly for the beehive but nothing stopping the birds from using it :)

It is really a great idea @bearone. Animals too need water for their survival. Putting water outside the house will not cause us anything but it will mean a lot for the animals.
