Art Vlog : 201018 : Grinder Day
Happy Saturday Steemit!
It's another sunny day up here which means it's a work day for me.
Today is all about grinding and buffing the orgonite pieces I made last week so they can be shipped out to their people next week.
I've got one going to the UK and it's a big beautiful piece weighing just under 500g and the cheapest postage option is $34.90. $34.90!!! Get the funk outta here! The last time I posted to the UK it was for small pendants and the postage was in the single digits.
I'm hoping postage withing Aus hasn't changed dramatically. I know there's been a price increase, maybe two, since I last mailed out orders.
Anyhoo.. I better get going and finish these before it rains again, apparently thunderstorms today 😱

Not sure if itś available in your area but have you checked EMS or similar intn´l courriers?
I had a good experience with them, and cost was similar or a bit less (costs are lower where it came from) but for twice the weight so I don´t know how much weight and region will factor into the fee or if they have offices that are close enough.
That's some hefty postage x_x but also kind of a beautiful chunky item. Postage has been slowly increasing but I'm kind of used to postage out this way being overpriced XD
Did you get the thunderstorms? We had rain forecast here and there was some down south but it didn't really get to where I am.
