Lonely hearts!

I remember playing GTA V when off on the radio was this song playing:

Interesting mix which elicits feelings of love, loss, and emptiness. Unfortunately that is what hallmark holidays like Valentine’s day create in many people . For me, I’m lucky that I found my partner for life. But you know what? Loneliness can be a real killer to people.

We should celebrate this hallmark holiday less as a day to cherish those we love, but more focusing on the people looking for love. North America is slowly and effectively killing off families. Higher taxes, the cost of living, and of course materialism has worn away at creating your own family. The antidote is sometimes in the affliction.

Sometimes it’s not about how deep your pocket book is. There are people who even today are looking for substance rather than the superficial. I hope those kinds of people can match with each other, build the family of their dreams in order to focus less on the material, and build a dream of true love together.
