1/10 gram Gold Aurum note: What's Your Take?
About 1 year ago I bought a bundle of these gold Aurum notes. I thought they would be a good medium of exchange in a SHTF scenario.
Apparently there is 1/10 gram of pure gold imbedded in each note:
What would you pay for this note?
Or was it a total waste of money? What do you think about the concept? If you were a farmer would you accept this as a means of exchange?
Thats a really interesting concept. How much were the bills. I like the little silver chunks with the break line so you can break it into pieces. But I would own one of those just to own it really. How is their company doing today? And also did you know, you were the first person who followed me. I just found that out last night!!
I think I paid around $9.00 US at the time. Have no idea what they are worth now. Probably around the same. I'm glad you have followed me to the top! 1000 same with you! To 1000!
Well I will have to swoop up one or two just to have them. and good luck on getting 1000!
If there is a way to authenticate this bill i would definitely accept it
1 gram of gold cost about 40 US$
I have bought some gold bullions 10gram 50 gram and 100 gram Swiss made and this is like money ..i have tried to pay with them and many shops owners would accept them - you just need to negotiate the price of the gold at the moment of the exchange

If there was a way to authenticate them, then yes I would. I'd rather have 1/10 gram pieces than larger ones. Makes it much easier to make change........billytwohearts
