I mean its kinda slick Bernie can upvotes like $150-$180 himself, Blocktrades Downvotes $150-$180 (since blocktrades has delegated like 3M Steem to bots and the likes to earn off this whole process), so Bernie gets Blocktrades delegation from the bots to keep the Post active so others can see it after blocktrades comes by knocking.
This is efficient, because Blocktrades can't get back all that Steem VP with the 7 days delegation hold in time to stop Bernies post and worst also lose out on 7 days or 3Million interest earning.
And ontop of that Blocktrades lose full daily VP that he/she would have given to established writers alredy boosting their votes up $50-$100 when they are already earning >$100 a post....saving the reward pool for everyone else.
