To Marry Or Not To Marry...
Marriage... how important is the word marriage to a person or to a life of a married individual?
Marriage... this is the word that seals two people who love each other and serves as a sacrament for a sacred relationship.
Marriage... a piece of paper but this piece of paper is very important in the life of a couple.
There are many who believe about marriage... in marrying the person whom you love... that it is important to get married first before living under the same roof... for their relationship to be more stronger.
Many also do not believe about marriage... Marriage?? Is it important?... Isn't it just a piece of paper? Isn't it more important in a relationship the word love?... what will you do to that piece of paper if you don't love each other? Isn't it more important and that your relationship will be stronger if you love and understand each other?
In our time today, many couples ended up in divorce and separation... whether ordinary people or popular personalities of our society... Beautiful and glamorous wedding they have... However, what did they end up with? Didn't they get separated? Because that piece of paper which united them was not sufficient to last their marriage because they were lacked of love and understanding with each other.
Marriage... where two people have sworn before God to love each other, but over time their vows in the eyes of God and in the eyes of those who witnessed their marriage suddenly got changed... they did not fulfill... they did not stand by their words "Till death do us part"
Marriage ... a piece of paper but very difficult to get away from.
Sometimes, couples are together only because they are married... even if they don't love each other anymore, they are still together only to save the marriage ... Isn't that difficult?
What if he was not the person you are destined with? What if your heart beats again to someone else? .. You cannot possibly be free just like that because you're tied up with that piece of paper... which if you would like to be slipped away is also not that easy as you first have to go through a long process.
It's funny when you think... as it only took you a minute to sign that paper, but it takes a long time and you'll count the years before that piece of paper will be void.
Marriage... a validation for a legal union of two people loving each other.
Marriage... for a solid relationship if you will put love, understanding, and trust with each other.
The secret to a happy marriage remains secret and only the people who are involved can say... To marry or not to marry? It needs to have a strong and solid foundation to have a successful marriage life.
Bear in mind what Mignon McLaughlin said: "A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE REQUIRES FALLING IN LOVE MANY TIMES, AND ALWAYS WITH THE SAME PERSON".
Hello @beachpersona. Found you at Steemit Family Ph and glad I did.
Marriage entails a covenant relationship. Respect and trust. Love is something we nurture everyday. And for marriage to be successful, both husband and wife need to put forth the effort, needs to be mutual. Otherwise, there you start talking about separation and divorce.
Let love reign!
Very well said. Both parties should be working for it and love should be growing each day between the two people.
Yes, let the love win! :)
For me I am married to @lovenfreedom it was not the marriage that keeps us together. Our love is growing stronger for all the time we are married now almost 10 years.
We never say we are sorry. We only ask for forgiveness, and give that forgiveness when it is needed. I think that is the key to our long strong love for each other. Without that some grudge could fester and simmer until it boils over.
I can emphatically say that my "Conenant" with @lovenfreemdom was established by God and He is the anchor of that "Covenant".
Love is not easy, because it's not just a feeling, it's a promise. And everyone cannot keep talking with the words.
I agree with you. Thanks for the comment. :)
