Thoughts On The Road
Yes, I used this picture yesterday in my prior parody series I'm working on but felt it captured a mood that got me to thinking....
The free feeling you get when you get to be alone on the open road with the windows down or sunroof open. Of course you could be a biker and then you really get the full effect. Basically there is something awesome about driving alone with only your thoughts and music to be your passenger. If you are a woman or a dude with long hair... don't you just love that feeling when the wind is blowing through your hair and you feel alive?!
How about a Fall breeze when you take a mountain trip and there is a crisp blue sky and that awesome display of color? I love this time of year when the seasons are starting to change and the leaves just start to turn. It sort of is a forced and sometimes much needed attitude adjustment. So perhaps a road trip or two is on the horizon and I'm gearing up in advance of those fall trips where it's just you, music, fresh air and open pavement.

yes life can be lived on the open road i agree @battleaxe! I did a solo trip once from L.A to New Orleans, did it in three and a half days on a Honda Jap Crap 750, stopped just twice...like a bat out hell into adventure was so awesome really !!

Oh yeah it was I can tell you, going through the Arizona desert was so crazy, the Joshua tree monument ) 50 degrees super dry sweletering heat and filling up my helmet with lovely fresh water and then putting it on to keep my brain from cooking like an egg )) We all need to go out into the unknown alone once and awhile eh @battleaxe ))

Nothing better than a road trip. Especially here in SA. Beautiful scenery, good music, handsome husband, excitement at going somewhere new or even familiar. Yup - Le good life

Yeah I feel you girl! I miss driving with my left window down, feeling the breezy air kissing my left ear and blowing my wet hair to make them dry. It's better than the hair dryer right? :-)
