How Much Do You Show Gratitude?

If you are having a rough time thanking people for something, consider gratitude. We know that gratitude is a virtue, but there are times when we do not have the time to think about how grateful we should be. We might be out of sorts or simply have a busy schedule. When this happens, it can leave us feeling like we can't express gratitude.


The fact is that gratitude is a very important part of life. You will feel good about yourself if you are always thankful for all that you have in your life. It doesn't matter whether you are grateful for the things that you have or the things that other people have offered to you.

There are ways in which you can be grateful for the things that you do have. One way to do this is by writing down your daily or weekly accomplishments. Take a look at your list and see what you can be grateful for. If you had a great idea that came out of thin air, take a moment to reflect on what went right with it. If there was a business you started or even just a great opportunity, make note of what went wrong with it.

You might also consider being grateful for the love and support you have received throughout your life. For many people, their biggest source of support is their spouse or family members. By saying thanks, you show them that you care about them and that you appreciate their love. This is something that will come back and serve as your anchor and will help keep you strong.

You may also want to consider making some time every week or month in which you can thank those who are doing things for you. If you have children, you might consider telling them that you appreciate the amount of time they are spending with you. Or if your business has helped someone, give them a big shout-out.

In addition to the activities you perform each day, you can also be grateful for the people who are around you. Even if you spend most of your time alone, it is still important to show how grateful you are. Give a card or a handwritten note to those you interact with frequently. Make it a simple and sincere note of gratitude for the things you have in common with your friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors and everyone else you meet.

Remembering how grateful you are to others can be very powerful. Your entire outlook on life can change because of the positive feelings of gratitude that you experience. Instead of feeling bitter at people, remember that you are grateful for all the people who have given you joy and happiness in your life. Remember the people who have done this to you and make a point to remember them each and every day.

The more grateful you are with everything in your life, the happier you will feel. You will also begin to wonder why you were able to survive in the first place and what it was that attracted you to begin with. So remember that gratitude is an important part of living a full, happy life.

You need to be grateful for all of the gifts and opportunities you have been given along the way. For example, when you were young, you probably had nothing to live for except the love of your parents and grandparents. This is what brought you joy. When you go through difficult times, be thankful for the support of your family and friends. If you do not have enough money, never think that it is a tragedy; it is the hand that has been dealt you only deserve the hand you have been dealt.

It is important to feel grateful for the experiences that are happening to you. Whether it is learning to walk, being told that you have a gift or knowing that you will have children, be thankful.


Remember, gratitude is the thing that emerges in the midst of life. The more grateful you are for all of the experiences that you have, the happier you will be.
