Ethereum was my Gateway to Crypto!?
bitcoin i mean Ethereum is what got me excited and here is why!
My first months into crypto! I have been reading everywhere that the gateway for people is bitcoin. It is like That Bitcoin is the marijuana for crypto. Because it is being used as a gateway drug to all the other cryptos out there, but i didn't expierence it that way.
Personally i'm a student and always looking for opportunities normally it is start a business, but even my teacher were speaking about bitcoin so i digged into it. What i saw as a new crypto enthousiast that Bitcoin is OLD and a Rusty blockchain that runs on hype. The only great thing about bitcoin these days is that it was first to market and that is hard to beat. It runs on hype because everyone is buying some bitcoin in fear of missing IT. So i looked further in the crypto world and came along ethereum really quick.
I wanted a stable coin that has oppertunity to grow. What it also needed in my opinion was a good community and great technology. This is what i see in Ethereum and it has some flaws but atleast they are innovating and advancing it. So for me ethereum is long term investment. For all the students out there everyone should buy some for the long term. Eventually bitcoin wil run out of new investors and the blockchain wil fail and everyone comes running to Ethereum!

@bartcard Ethereum is what got me going as well. The fact that many big fishes have acknowledged its potential sounds really good. Having said that 2018 is going to be a big year with sharding & PoS in the pipeline, we'll have most of the questions answered by the end of it.
Nobdy can determine the future of this. What do you think about the recent pullback in the marketcap @magpielover
Just wondering, what are your thoughts on all of the difficulties lately from ethereum and crypto kitties.
The crypto kitties can be seen as an advantage because the popularity of Ethereum went crazy the last week. That being said there are gonna be problems along the way, but i personally have faith in the experts behind ethereum and they will be able to fix this. So eventually ethereum can scale up and up and up. Because of those great guys and great team behind it.
Dreams can come true if we believe and if we are determined. The problem of cryptocurrencies is a volatile market and it is very difficult to construct a future. Need to be careful and patient.
