Aceh is one area that has a very big role in the struggle and independence of the nation from colonization, one in West Aceh. In the land of Aceh, many national heroes have grown to serve the government, not only for the people of Aceh in general and including in Indonesia. One of the heroes from Aceh is Teuku Umar. Teuku Umar was born in Meulaboh, West Aceh, in 1854. He was the son of Ahmad Mahmud and his mother was the younger brother of the king of Meulaboh. He was one of the national heroes who led the guerrilla war in Aceh from 1873 to 1899.
In my post it shows one of the historical monuments made with the famous art, (Hat mekeutop) Teuku Umar to remember the history of Teuku Umar to fight for the nation.
