As of just now about 3:05 pm EST --- the CMC.com (CoinMarketCap.com) charts are showing our total market cap for Crypto is still elevated - overall compared to the last month of course......but overnight, fell, and is bleeding red.......
We have had elevated and sustained for many many days now, since the Bitcoin / Bitcoin Cash Forkening event caused the markets to finally swell back over the $100B mark for the first time in weeks since Aug. 1st -- and has kept climbing.
We were sitting still at $159.3B Total Crypto Currency Market Cap 5 days ago when I did this update last........

Last Night when I got offline after my posts, say 11:30 pm EST - we were RIGHT on the cusp on crossing the $180B mark for the first time......
We fell overnight from that point to $162B right now. -- Losing approx. $17B.
It often happens on FUD Fridays as we know.
Bitcoin (as my last update last nite showed) was RIGHT on the very edge of crossing the $5k mark USD for the first time, it was literally around $4980/$4990 USD!!!!
Oh so close!!!

Just perspective / We almost crossed the Crypto Market cap of $180B in the last 20 hours of Sept. 1st 2017:
Half the Market Cap DUMPED as I mentioned above has happened to us before.......As we did just around June 21st, when it hit the high of $117B and then tanked into the $65 to $95B range for weeks.
Those were bloodbath times. Shudders -- Even though the dramatic rise, signalled a clear correction would be coming.

Not really, it did not fit with my catchy title for the series.
So no acknowledgement of high risk/reward strategies that favor the bold at all?
I increased my trade account balance by about 60% during that correction by shorting Ether, and I arrived late to the party. Of course, the profits were promptly used to purchase more BTS :)

I will be starting a fun side project. Going to put $1 into each coin. For now, I pick those coins with biggest market cap.
Spent half my monthly crypto-investment budget early this week on DASH, Ether and some more TenX PAY. Today I feel glad I kept half the budget put aside, to use in case if the market takes a downward turn. Which it seems to be taking right now, as I’m typing this. As soon as the fall stops, I am about to grab some more – and cheaper – DASH, Ether, Monero and ZCash. This is my plan. I haven’t sold anything, hodling fast.
