Greetings to steem Ghana community, happy Sunday to you all, hope y'all are safe.

It's a special day, not just that it's the Sabbath (Sunday) but the first Sunday of the year, and I trust you all went and thanked God in your respective Churches, as for me, I did and here is how I spent my day:

Attending Church

I woke up today at exactly 6 o'clock, unlike other days which I use to woke up late because I always sleep late, even on Sundays because church service is usually at 8. The reason is because our church service was scheduled for today at 6:00am, so you could imagine why I woke up that time, or weather I attended church.

Well, I actually did went to church but I never planned to wake up ath this time, infact I set alarm at 5:20am, hoping to wake up and round up everything before the scheduled 6 for service and for sure the alarm rung but I snoozed it🙁.

Called by brother at that 6:00am who worships in the same Church with me and he told me he was already there🤦🏾‍♂️. Quickie fetched cold water and started bathing, tho it was cold i would have bathed with warm water if I wasn't in a hurry.

It took me not more than 3 minutes before I finished. At 7 minutes after the 6 o'clock, his text message landed on my phone that the mass (service) has began 🤧.
I felt bad for Woking up late, that it's all my fault. I hurried as fast I could, to worsen it all I couldn't find a single bike on the road and as per, I had to trek and I did just that.

I got to the church at 40 minutes after 6, by then the sermon was going on, that was quite deep inside tho😭.
I had to stand outside as the custom of the church demands.
Today also, I Worshiped with the Christian community of **Saint Elizabeth Catholic church, Akiama Bonny Island Rivers State Nigeria [What3words](.....

During the mass, all activities were carried out out which includes readings from the Bible as follows:

, aside the readings, other activities include offering of gifts from people to God, receiving of holy communion by Catholic communicants and lots more.

The mass later ended at 21 minutes after the hour of 7, Glory be to God it was successful.
I set on my foot to the house without delay, I trekked again .
By the time I got home, it was 8.

Activities from when I returned to church

Nothing special is what I can say, but worth telling I think. I never ate immediately I got back from church, the thing is that , I never like eating, I wasn't hungry.

I continued going through my phone, precisely on my social media accounts and lastly by most time spent on is steemit as usual.

At 12, I had my first and only-still in my belly meal, whichbis rice, white rice.
After I ate, I again continued on my phone, I never went out, wasnt visited nor was visited by any one.
I took a nap from 3-4:04pm, (that really turned to deep sleep though😐🧐).

As of the time of publishing this post, I'm sitting outside embracing the cool breeze, Hoping to go inside and of course sleep as early if possible.
