'Lebanon cedar' in Belgium

My visit to a little forest, near a castle in 'Zottegem' (a city located in 'East Flanders', Belgium),led me to an magnificent tree that is rare to be seen in the country.But it was not the only impressive tree to be found in the area. I've spotted another giant not far from the 'giant sequoia' ; a 'Lebanon cedar' (Cedrus libani).

These amazing trees can reach a height up to 40 m (130 ft) and a remarkable diameter of 2.5 m (8 ft 2 in).
