Infected zombie ladybug

A couple of days ago, my mother captured a picture of a ladybug that was infected by a virus that comes from a green-eyed wasp 'Dinocampus coccinellae'.The virus turns ladybugs into a zombie babysitter.3 weeks after a wasp lays the egg inside the beetle, a larva bursts from her belly and weaves itself a cocoon between the legs of the ladybug. The ladybug does not die, but becomes paralyzed, twitching her spotted red carapace to ward off predators.The adult wasp emerges a week later.I also have footage of it.
