What I know about foreigners according to my compatriots

Even the psychologist receives considerable money. It is accepted to live so that the clothes should be bought constantly, as to walk in old clothes more than a week it is considered bad form. And here generally so I said that taxes on the income of ordinary people makes 50%. Also he thus said (2012) that than not better, than in Russia. Probably he is a patriot. It was and there is a person of an old school.

Prapoganda on state the channel always covered news of foreign countries always negatively. Nothing good occurs there:murders, marauding, acts of discontent (meetings), political meetings on important questions, world problems and wars.

Fan ex-prisedent Barack Obama and imposes its fanatical - contradictory ideas (about this it is possible to talk for hours)

About East countries. China and Japan. According to her they are the backward and poor countries, especially about Japan. Considers that Japanese have poor moral qualities. I didn't begin to argue with it, but asked again: whether "her belief and knowledge absolutely are exact and correct?", she told "yes", none of the students present did not object and were not surprised, apparently they did not care or did not know what she was talking about. Only one human told: "I understand you".

however it is curious
In Canada we have high taxes but also a strong social welfare system and healthcare. Wages start low, but many people are unionized and have good negotiated contracts, especially in skilled trades. We have the second largest country (after Russia) and yet only 36 million people. Our government is not always transparent, but our media is strong and what is done in the dark comes to light eventually. What we see of Russia on TV is a country of fun, that has come a long way since the poor disbanding of the USSR (when I went to school all the maps said USSR still and nobody bothered to explain what happened :/) I also understand your state television is very controlled by the government rather then the people. Putin seems very charismatic, not a compliment, just an observation. Many people will have misconceptions about other countries, it takes years of travel to discover at heart each land is filled with people with hopes and dreams, and that the Assholes come in every creed color and religion, and it is not in your favour to base your opinion of any people on their Assholes. Great post, it's always nice to here what's seen from the other side of the world.

Good Morning @barbaradesu. As I noted in my post I always try to look at the blogs of those who vote up or comment on my post. I really love this story. It's one of the thing about Steemit the way we can get to know each other like we are next door neighbors even if we are on opposite sides of the world. I find everyone being respectful and I try to remember that we come from different cultures but in our hearts we all care about the same things and we are able to find out what Russians think about foreign countries.
