What's a good cryptocurrency?

This is probably one of the questions on all investors or newbies minds. I have spent over a month spending double digit hours educating myself about this world of cryptocurrency.

What I have learnt that you should look for I will summarise below. I call this the 'O DAMN' approach:

Are the cryptocurrencies from a technical perspective oversold/undervalued? Let's call this (O).
How are the development team? Who is working on the application? Have they worked on anything similar before? For example Dan Larimer for EOS also worked on Steemit. Let's assign this as (D).
Is the crypto doing something groundbreaking that can generate income with a real world application? Take Siacoin which looks to revolutionise the cloud storage space. This is all about application so I list it under (A).
What is the trading volume and market capitalisation? Are these actually solid currencies or pump and dumps like 'Pot coin'? This is all about the market (M).
How are the communities for the cryptocurrency? Is there any latest news coming out that you can capitalise on? "Buy on the rumour and sell on the news" (N) is for news right?

So next time you see a crypto on the market think "O DAMN is this the one?" Similar to when you see a girl at a party and you think "oh damn is this shawty for me?". You have a similar check list or you're probably not thinking with your brain. But in the world of investing I really hope you are thinking with your brain!
