Good morning Great Steemians. Happy week end to you all. I had a cold night not what about you? Today I will like to share with you how I ended up my Friday with Malaria. I will like to plead with everyone to also please stay safe especially today. I pray God protect us all.

I woke up Friday morning feeling some symptoms of malaria such as body pain and slight cold. Actually for almost a week now I had been very busy with my proposal writing which counts for our continuous assessment in one of my courses. I had been so busy accompany with no light, so the little light I have I have to use it for my internet searching. Also busy during the day taking my students physics, chemistry and biology even mathematics for some of them preparing for quiz. This is what I love during even though I am not being paid for the service.

I woke up 5am as my usual time I wake up every day. Yes as I said I have been so busy for two weeks but woke up this Friday with pains all over the body. As my usual habit I took up my laptop to read some of my materials. I assimilate most in the morning immediately I wake up, during the midnight, what I do most in the afternoon is to attend lectures, do revision on what I had read in the midnight. I don't start a new topic during the day. Reading and teaching has always been my hobby.

This day I decided not to engage myself to any morning chores, all I was doing is going through my write up and reading it. It was around 9am I quickly took my bath, eat my food and prepare to go to see my students who has competition this day. I am sure you will be surprised why I went that late. Yes I went there late because it was a job I was doing voluntarily without being paid or expecting anything in return. It's just that I love teaching. I would have love to apply for teaching job over there but I have limited time to spend but the little time I have I want to use it to share with them what I know. I am actually a student like many of us here but my lectures has been a virtual type until of recent they ask us to resume. So I go there spending just 3 at times 4hours of my leisure time with them. Most times I take them beyond the school period that is the school closes 3pm but I will take them extra time till 5pm. This is because I create 5am to 2pm to deal with whatever I have to do like reading, attending of lectures and other activities like that.

I joined them in the quiz. On getting there I felt bad because the quiz pattern had changed. I wanted to watch the senior classess in the quiz but I got there to discover the quiz was between junior classes and primary school students While the senior classes was postponed till the following week.

The questions were set from primary school work. Surprisingly the primary pupils defeated their seniors(junior school classes). The first second and third were from primary classes. After the quiz all the students and teachers were asked to take pictures with the best, second and third. They were also presented their gifts.

After the quiz they I was having a kind of head ache, it was was already 11:30am I directed the ss1 students to have a class with them. We had 30minutes class before their fellowship. After the fellowship which was akreadijg 1pm and closing period I came back to have the remaining class with them. We had the class till 2:30whilebi felt the headache is becoming more severe. I gave them an assignment from their text and went home.

I got home took parastamol and rested. It was in the evening when my mum came back she felt I had already have a high temperature. She got malaria dose for me. She instructed me to take my blood pressure from a nearby nurse. My bp was 140 which is above the normal 120. The nurse instructed me take more rest and take malaria dose. I got home to sleep immediately and have been awake since 4am this morning pressing my phone. Now am better.

Thanks for reading through. Still that person you know@bammytee.
