I have snails and try to get rid of them. They start breeding in the garden behind the weeds I removed.
I dont want them. They eat the sunflowers! Can we eat them? I assume at least once.
I understand that for a gardener or gardener, a snail is not the most welcome guest. But for an artist and a photographer... :)
I've heard that grape snails are edible. Long before the "meat" of crickets, grasshoppers, and larvae was advertised in Europe. We need to tell these jerks that it is most convenient to harvest locusts during their invasion. You don't have to spend money on cultivation. Or maybe locusts are already being sold under the guise of crickets?...

Надо подсказать этим придуркам, что удобнее всего заготавливать саранчу во время её нашествия. Не придётся тратить деньги на выращивание. А может быть саранчу уже продают под видом сверчков?...
We have a shop selling foreign stuff named Xenos. It also sells a bit of foreign food and snacks. One of them is since years a small package the size of cigarettes containing locusts covered with chocolate.
France is famous by it's escargots, the Dutch are not.
I wondered if I can eat these if that's the case I better breed them but not where I plant.
I didn't see any this morning. Let's see how fast they are back.

Thank God they don't sell this stuff here. In any case, I have not yet seen insects as a food product.
I can understand oysters and mussels. These are common seafood. I even like mussels. But here are the locusts in chocolate... let them also try the pickled maggots...
We've had giant naked snails lately. Even birds don't eat them, they have no natural enemies. I'm afraid they might take over territories. The only hope is for severe frosts in winter...

I refuse to eat maggots no matter what Brussels says, I rather stick to the hunger-diet. I am sure In wasn't a fish or bird in my former life.
Naked giant snails have meat with poison, so there are no enemies. That's what I heard, I haven't tried it myself))
