Transition Successfully Complete

Who is sick of fall posts?

I know I am.

So, I promise this is the last one you will see from me this year. I like to write about what is relevant to me and that is just the way it is.

Well, we are full into the fall now. The leaves are down, there is frost on the ground every morning, and my spirit is presently accepting the transition of nature around me. I am ready for winter.

If you follow my blog you know I had a run there for a while where I was thinking a lot about death. It's natural for one to think about it but for me when summer ends and fall begins I feel it all around me.

To be honest, I was struggling with it. There are things I carry with me, due to my history, and I guess this was a time of year where it comes bubbling to the surface.

Something that brought some closure this time around was a walk with my family to a very special place in the woods.

There are no pictures to share of the exact spot as I do not want to photograph it, the place is that special to me.

I did however, share the spot for the first time with my wife this past weekend. I want her to know it and that if I am to die to please spread my ashes there.

Don’t worry I plan on living a long life! I want to meet my grandkids you know?

It was just something I wanted to do and even though I know if I did die anytime soon my wife would probably never find the spot back and just dump my ashes randomly to get it done! 🤣

It doesn't bother me, it makes me laugh and I know she would try her best. I love her!
