Splinterlands - Back and forth with the ratings

I have been trying really hard from yesterday to get past 2200 ratings so that I will be able to reach the next league to get some additional cards. Unfortunately it is not happening. I'm being pushed back an forth between 2100 and 2175 rating and not beyond that. Even if I go beyond that I'm pushed down again. There are also some completely unfair games in-between where players from very high ratings compete with me just to knock me down and take off my ratings.

After seeing the above image you would have already got what I'm talking about. When there is a pressure to reach the next league level and if this happens, the game is not very interesting anymore. I keep falling down and reduce my energy capture rate.

I was able to complete my daily quest today with Water splinter and then this happened. I did try really hard to win some games to increase the rating and league to get some better rewards. It didn't happen till the end. I did lose my patience and then opened the quest rewards.

The quest rewards were very good. I managed to get a gold foil card in the quest reward along with rare and epic cards. Though more of the cards were pretty new, I guess they will be very helpful in the battles later on. I'm going to be using some of the cards in the future as well.
