What is the best form of investment?
I would say "Time" is the best form of investment. People contributes to so many things in this world. The first contributing factor that one can do is the Time. We spend lots of time in various activities. For the success of the activity, the right amount of time investment is really important. If we are spending so much of time on activities that are not going to add any value to our life, then it will be a waste. Once the time is wasted, we will not be able to get the time back.
I have seen so many people saying that if they had spent little more time on that particular task it would have been a great success. This proves the importance of time. I have seen a great video about the importance of time from Jay Shetty. We might think that we have enough time for everything in our life. But we will not know the real value of time unless and until we are forced to understand how important it is.
- To know the value of One year, ask a student who failed in his degree.
- To know the value of 1 month, ask a pregnant mother who lost her child in the last month.
- To know the value of 1 week, ask an online editor of a magazine.
- To know the value of 1 hour, ask someone who is in a long distant relationship.
- To know the value of 1 minute, ask someone who just missed their bus.
- To know the value of 1 second, ask someone who just escaped from an accident.
- To know the value of a fraction of second, ask an athlete who won silver medal in Olympics.
We are all bound to time. We have been wasting lots of time every single day without our knowledge. The reason is because we are finding it difficult to understand where we should be investing the time.
Investing our time
Today if we invest our time in the right sense, our future life will be fruitful. There are many opportunities available to spend the time effectively. Every single minute that we spend on a productive task is a great investment for our future. Most of the people will say that money is the greatest investment but I would say more than money time is the great investment one can make in their life.
- If we invest enough time on building our relationship with our partner our life will be beautiful and we will have a great support for all our activities throughout our life. Family building is very important.
- Investing time on our kids makes them grow with good values.
- Investing time on knowledge is the most important thing that everyone should be doing. The amount of time that we invest today in gaining a particular knowledge or skill can help in providing a sustainable source of income for our living.
- Investing time on amusements is also important to keep our mind stress free and calm.
- Investing time on self. This is also an important step. Even though we spend enough time on others and other activities, we have to spend enough time in exploring our purpose of life. A little bit of spiritual inclination can do wonders in shaping our life.
With all the above points, I would say investing "Time" is the greatest thing that someone can do for a peaceful a fulfilled life.
