SUNFLOWERS are beautiful! Not only are they great to look at they are also full of seeds packed with loads of nutrients for a healthy body and mind.

Here is a list of things sunflower seeds can do for you!

  1. SFS are a great source of selenium which means they can assist in preventing cancer and controlling cell damage.
  2. They contain copper and magnesium that keep your bones healthy and strong.
  3. They contain vitamin E which can help to ease pain caused by arthritis or inflammation. The vitamin E in sunflowers also combats UV rays, making your skin glow, giving your complexion a youthful appearance.
  4. These small seed stops bad cholesterol from clogging up your arteries, helping to keep your heart troubles away. Just a handful of these tasty seeds a day can work wonders.

How should you eat them? The possibilities are endless—Sprinkle on your cereal, salads and stir-fried. Add them to your yogurt, or simply pop them into your rice and pasta dishes. If you bake, make our own bread, cookies or pies it is also easy to just knead them into dough.
