I am @bait002 and I can stand to say that I am a blockchain motivator. I am the founder of the offline minnow school, where minnow are groomed and mentored. Today, I will be talking about how we can put our motives on check as users of the steem blockchain.
Most of us do various things for different reason. There are no baseless actions in life. Everything we make up our minds to do, we do towards an end. And the end behind the motives we have is what truly defines satisfaction in life.

we will never be satisfied if the end of endeavour lies below the realm of our expectations.

It is the ends of our reasons that define what our expectations should be and that is what defines our satisfaction in life. It doesn’t matter how good our plans turn out to be, we will never be truly satisfied until we are satisfied in the context of why we did whatever we did.

If the background is true, then we need to see the significance of that and how it applies to the steem blockchain.

if you are a minnow reading this, I would like you to know that the account you got on this blockchain is not entirely free.

Every new account comes with a sum of delegated steem, which in my estimate should be about 45USD (#16000). Knowing this should help you make the most of your account and keep it regardless of the state of your blog. There is however a problem as to how newbies see their accounts.

Don’t to that, promo-guys most times don’t tell you the truth behind what the steem blockchain represents.

the steem blockchain represents value for value. And it only gives value to those who create value. I was told that steemit pays for posting original content. With time I realized that’s not just any type of original content because, on steemit original must also be valuable.

Put your expectations on check. Know that it takes time to get yourself on that spotlight where full attention will be given to you and your works. In the meantime you have to prove that you are here to add value and not just steal it. The implication is that;

you keep going, even when it doesn’t pay.
I encourage minnows that come to my offline class to do what they do for the love of it, so that when it doesn’t pay, love will be their reasons. Put your expectations on check, if you have the wrong one.

I encourage you to do what I did, which I am still doing. You have to love this thing we do here. The mining of steem is content oriented and you have to understand that the value of your contents is the value of what you would mine.

value derived from the blockchain can only be as good as the value put into it.
