The ordinary yet significant Lovegrass.

Let me introduce you all to the "Lovegrass", genus Eragrostis;

I know, I know it's Valentine's day and you might be thinking "TH, is she writing 'bout a mere weed!?" Anyhoo stay with me, you might actually LEARN something new and also hear what Our Creator and FOREVER Valentine has to say through His Creation.

Lovegrass also known as canegrass may seem insignificant to us but is one of the plants used in #phytoremediation specifically phyto-immobilization to remove, degrade or isolate toxic substances (i.e. PHCs, Caesium-137 from the soil, etc) in the environment.
It may seem insignificant (just a weed etc) at first glance but the Creator created it for a purpose i.e. in the #bioremediation process.

The bottom line is: Just like the "Lovegrass" you may feel or look insignificant in the eyes of others or that you don't have it all figured out right now. Just remember you were created for a purpose it may seem insignificant to others but your calling is specifically yours. Jeremiah 29:11. So hang in there. Trust the Maker. Just like the Lovegrass. And do you see it complaining?
