Introduction

Hello everyone, how are you doing? , I trust everybody has been doing great and I welcome you once again to the campus connect engagement contest, the last engagement was successful, here we are again to discuss of Our side hustle as a student.

Every student in the university needs a side hustle one way or the other, especially if you're a man you can't be solely dependent on your parents for every little things you need to buy from schools or for any of your social activities, there are situations whereby you need couple of bucks to get some little things which in this case you can not be calling your parents from time to time, so in this case a side hustle is needed for everyone to make a living and as well to sort out their bills by themselves.

My side hustles has been a successful one for me and I have been able to gather a lot of interesting side gigs and have also been to sort some financial needs for myself and people around me, I'm going to take you on the journey of my side hustle as a student.

What is your side hustle is?

My side hustle involves here and there as I mostly move around to learn couple of things and as well move with the trends regardless of what's going on around, most of my side gigs are crypto related activities.

I trade Cryptocurrency - This is an interesting method for me for making money, crypto trading is as interesting as it get when it comes to a job, there are people who do this for a living and have been able to make a name for themselves, one thing about crypto is that , you have to be willing to learn it before you can start making doughs from it.

I started my Crypto trading since August 2021, and it has been growing great for me , there are times when I might liquidate, but the interesting thing is that I could always bounce back harder and keep on moving to the next phase.

With a proper Technical analysis knowledge, and as well with a good risk reward mangament, one could trade crypto easily without risking much of their assets, but be sure to trade what you can afford to lose.

After I'm done with my technical analysis, I do proceed to take the trade on the binance Futures.

Twitter

I have tends to gain audience on my Twitter page , which I do make use of to create crypto related articles and as well reach out my audience to influence the particular community.

A website Developer - This has been a new gigs for me as I am still in the learning phase, I do hope to create a good passion with it afterwards, this is by chance the hardest of all my side hustle, as it requires d of 48hrs per week of my time, so many task to pile on.

These are the side hustle I am currently enrolled on as a students, it's a way of improving one knowledge and in preparation for the future to come.

How do you merge both side hustle and education on campus?

I prioritize my academics the most, which there is no way one could affect each other , I am currently in my third year, and as well a good student at that, so whenever my academics is required of me , I left all my side hustle and face what is right in front of me first.

I have never had issue with merging the two , as I only take my side hustle during the beginning of the semester and whenever the exams is nearby, I leave all the side hustles behind and focus more on the school related activities.

And also, the programming I do engage in is related to my academics activity as well, so in such case, there are times I take the programming far more serious as it also improve my academics knowledge as well.

How many hours to do you work a week on your side hustle?

I am the type of person that believes in making plans, all my side hustle are not difficult tasks for me and does not require much man power, it requires brains instead.

For my content hustle, I do that just three times in a week, and it's mostly scheduled for night program, as I do create the contents in between 10:00p.m till 11:00pm, so this is only needed of my time three times in a week.

For the trading , I do carry out the market analysis as early as 1:00am , then in the period interval of watching the market for 30 - 45 minutes, I gets to be done with my analysis, after setting the target level, I do close the app and be confident enough in the trade as I don't neccey need to watch it every hour.

And here comes the time consumer, which is the programming hustle, sometimes it does gets on my neck, but couple of times have found way to work around it as sometimes I do leave most of the tasks for weekend and as well delay the customers a little bit and explained to them that I am still a student, which means they have to be patient for a while with me.

Conclusion

Working as a student can be time consuming, but it is a must do so as to gain experience, with proper management, one can do great both at School and their side hustle as well.

There are situations in the work field where one is required to have gained experience, before securing a job, reason most people take internship program, this as well is similar to the side hustle, the moment you are confident enough and you keep growing, then you have got the experience needed for the field you plan on working after the university studies.

Thank you everyone for following through my write-up, I Hereby invite @jueco and @solexybaba to participate.

Being a cryptocurrency trader is not easy these days, the market seems to be highly volatile. Much care must be taken in order to make profits in this volatile market.
