A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. Let me share to you this interesting facts about dreams.
Dreams are for everyone. There’s not a single person who doesn't dream, except those who have psychological disorders. If you think you don't dream, that’s not true, it’s just you forgot the dream.
We have multiple dreams every day. On an average, you can dream for about one to two hours every night and you can have four to seven different dreams in one night and that makes an average person to have about 1,460 dreams a year.
The faces you see in your dreams are probably those of people you already know or have seen before. It could be the people you saw on street, school or any other places.
You don’t have to be asleep to dream, in fact it’s quite easy to do and it’s called daydreaming. This type of dreaming is called active dreaming that requires active imagination and determined focus on the subject to explore into it entirely.
Déjà vu. In a survey, it was found that between 18-38% of people have experienced at least one precognitive (future sight - acquisition of future information) dream and 70% experienced déjà vu. Furthermore, 63-98% people believe that it's possible to have a precognitive dream.
Animals also have dreams. Humans are not the only species that dream, animals too, and also, they tend to experience heightened brain activity and dream while they sleep.
Iv always struggled to remember my dreams. I have in very few occasions, unlike my partner who can tell me every detail of his dreams!
it's because the brain have different ways of remembering thing, it could be that he remembers, while you don't :)
