Crypto Obsession!
Hey Guys.
Ever since i started with Crypto (around 4 weeks ago) iv'e been more and more obsessed with checking the prices of my portfolio or CoinMarketCap or even on facebook crypto groups. I feel as though i'm starting to go mad and have too much of an obsession, like and OCD obsession.
After the Bloodbath of whats happened the last couple of days and the massive drop in the % of my holdings i feel as though i need to stop looking at it every minute or i will end up like....
All jokes aside i think what i'm trying to get at is this normal to have this SLIGHT obsession or am i the only one?
Any comments and followers welcomed to help a Brother in this time of need!
Very easy to become OCD-like when involved with crypto. Best advice is to put your coins in cold storage and hold long term. Try and make it so that your coins are a few steps away from being easily trade-able and then you will be less likely to trade on a whim or on emotions

It is very normal. I still check mine 2-3 times a day and I have been messing with cryptocurrenies for about 3 years now.

Totally normal. I had a stock investing app on my phone and I checked it all the time. Now I check cryptocurrency all the time! The best thing to do is to take your coins off the exchanges and hold long term. Don't check the exchanges too often or you'll go crazy. And if you want to buy on a dip, instead of stalking your coin on all the exchanges, you can just set a conditional buy order and know that if the price drops, you'll get your coin for cheap. Remember that many coins represent new and mostly untested alpha versions of future technology that won't really pay off for another 3-5 years at the very least.
And remember: hodl, hodl, hodl!
Good advice thank you will look into buy order process and i will try and not look, sometimes just too tempting. I do plan to hodl for the long term on most of my coins. I'm going to have a dabble at day trading once ive gotten better at TA and learnt a bit more about the markets. Followed!
