The Dark Fortress
I shall never leave my fort again
nor will I ever open the door
I've done it before
too many times, tempted by lies
Now I open my eyes
to see things as they are
And I'm proud of my scars
They're a constant reminder of my journey so far
Telling the story about the lonely-boy trying to reach for the stars
But those little jewels of the night
turned their back on the boy of no name
and his heart - once full of might;
got broken by their treacherous game
Lonely-boy have no place to go, ain't that a shame?
No one to redeem his innocent soul
No love, no journey, no friends and no goal
But when it seems he lost it all
he recalles his fort that kept him sane
a place that survived even Satan's bane
So now I'm inside and never will leave
the outside world is no place to live
I'm not going out - I swear
I was there and it's full of despair
So if you still wanna meet me -
Just follow the road that leads to nowhere
But I warn you- my demons are guarding the door
and inside there is hell you've never seen before
My fort is a nightmare, beware
Will you take the risk?
Will you dare?
Will you care?
