Hello everybody! Today I want to share with you something different than food. I made candles for my sisters and mom. Honestly, I've made them as a gift for Christmas, but I didn't have time to do post about them. So now it's time for the good-smelling candles in home made version. I made them from little white candles which I bought in large numbers (100 units in one package), wax crayons and essential oils. It was really easy to do so you don't need some special capacities to do it. There's only one thing, which you will need in big amounts - TIME😉.

My sister wanted to buy for me Yankee Candle for Christmas. I said no, because this little thing is extremely expensive in Poland, and I dislike to waste money for things like expensive candles or whatever. So at that moment, she gave me good idea for gifts. And I know that she really enjoyed this homemade candle, she really like these expensive things, unlike me (I prefer to buy something important, or devote this money to Charity). Of course, my candles were in much cheaper version haha! But their effect was exactly the same. So if you want to do them for somebody (Valentines Day soon guys!💞), I highly encourage to try them in this way, which I described below. So enough about my story with them, let's look at ingredients and process!🤗

For preparing candles you will need:
for 8 little candles

• 150 pieces of little white candles like this one
• eight little jars (I picked jars in nice shapes)
• string ( you can use every kind, except for plastic one)
• your favourite essential oils
• wax crayons
• pencils
• duct tape
• something to mix (I used big toothpick)

Directions:

• from candles remove wicks and metal
• one end of string fasten with help of duct tape and put this inside the jar, and the second end tie to pencil and place it on jar
• put wax into little pot and boil it in water-bath in other pot, thanks to that, wax will dissolve better
• if you will see that all wax is dissolve, take out this from water-bath, add your favourite essential oil and color (just break the crayons or you can use pencil sharpener, the more you will add, the color will be more pronounced) and mix it precisely
• pour the wax into jars and leave the candles, till it'll get cold
• If you want you can add some green tea or coffe seeds or dry flower petals, it'll looks more beautiful with some additives😊
